Question 1

What experience shapes how you approach a new engagement?

Accepted Answer

Our team has spent decades leading IT inside dozens of different organizations, from nonprofits to engineering firms. Our founder spent a decade integrating IT environments during company acquisitions. Seeing that many environments means we've learned what tends to go wrong, what's usually hiding under the surface, and where the real savings are. That experience shapes a process we trust. We start with an assessment. Before recommending anything, we get a clear picture of where you are today. That includes your systems, your security posture, and how your team actually works. We build your roadmap from a real inventory. We catalog every application and piece of equipment in your environment. Then we sort each one: move it to the cloud, upgrade it, or retire it. This step often turns up tools you're paying for but no longer need. We execute against your budget. You set the budget, and we plan around it. Priorities are sequenced so the highest-impact work happens first, and you always know what's coming next and what it will cost. The result is an IT plan built for your organization, not a template, carried out by a team that has seen enough to anticipate problems before they cost you.

Question 2

What are the core values that drive TenisiTech?

Accepted Answer

Four values shape how we work with every client, and you'll see them in how we actually operate, not just on our website. Transparency. You'll always know where your IT stands. We share regular scorecards and plain-language reporting, and we're upfront about tradeoffs, costs, and anything that isn't going to plan. Collaboration and communication. We work as an extension of your team, not a vendor you have to chase down. That means clear updates, honest conversations, and decisions made together. Curiosity. We don't stop at fixing the symptom. We ask why a problem happened so we can solve the root cause, and we keep learning so you don't have to track every technology shift yourself. Resourcefulness and drive. Complicated problems are our specialty. We take ownership, find practical solutions, and see the work through.

Question 3

What makes TenisiTech different from other IT providers?

Accepted Answer

We're proactive. We fix weaknesses before they turn into outages or security incidents, instead of waiting for something to break. We're a partner, not a transaction. We measure our work by how well your business runs, not by how many tickets we close. We speak your language. You'll get clear, jargon-free answers and support built around how your team actually works.

Question 4

What industries does TenisiTech serve?

Accepted Answer

We work with organizations across the U.S., including nonprofits, healthcare and medical services, engineering firms, technology startups and scaleups, financial services and insurance, manufacturing and logistics, and education and academic institutions. Industry matters because each one carries different pressures. A healthcare organization has to protect patient data and meet HIPAA requirements. A nonprofit needs strong security on a budget that answers to donors and grant funders. A growing technology company needs IT that can scale as quickly as its headcount does. We build each client's strategy around the realities of their sector, so you're not paying for protections you don't need or missing the ones you do.

Question 5

What is a Managed Service Provider (MSP), and how does TenisiTech fit that role?

Accepted Answer

An MSP is a company you hire to run some or all of your IT for you, instead of building a full internal IT department. Many MSPs focus mainly on the help desk: fixing problems when employees call. We take a broader view. We treat IT as an operating function of your business, like finance or HR, and we manage all of it. That covers strategy, roadmap, and budget at the top, and security, monitoring, and day-to-day support underneath. In practice, we act as your outsourced IT leadership and operations team, so your leaders can focus on running the business.

Question 6

What does TenisiTech's onboarding process look like for new clients?

Accepted Answer

Onboarding is where we learn your environment, and it's built to keep disruption to your team as low as possible. It follows five steps. First, we run discovery and document your full IT environment, including every application, device, and account. Second, we assess your security and infrastructure to find gaps across identity, devices, email, network, and policies. Third, we deploy our monitoring, backup, and security tools so you're protected from the start. Fourth, we build your IT roadmap around your business goals and budget. Fifth, we train your team on how to reach us and what to expect. By the end of onboarding, you'll have a clear picture of where your IT stands and a plan for where it's going.

Question 7

How do you ensure a positive client experience?

Accepted Answer

It starts with being easy to reach and quick to respond. For critical issues, like a full outage, we respond within one hour, 24/7. Our contracts spell out a response and resolution time for every priority level, so you know what to expect before you ever need us. Beyond speed, we focus on how support feels. You get clear explanations without the jargon, and a team that treats your problems like they matter. We also measure satisfaction through scorecards and quarterly business reviews, and we use that feedback to keep improving.

Question 8

How do you report IT service success to clients?

Accepted Answer

You'll get regular, plain-language reporting that shows how your IT is performing and where the risks are. On a regular basis, we share security posture reports with prioritized findings and the status of any fixes in progress. Each quarter, we meet with you for a business review covering uptime, ticket trends, user satisfaction, and risk. The goal is for your leadership, your board, and your IT team to all be looking at the same picture.

Question 9

How does TenisiTech ensure continuous improvement in its IT services?

Accepted Answer

We review our own performance as closely as we review your environment. That means regular service reviews, acting on client feedback, and ongoing training for our team as technology and security threats change. Our support team holds HDI certification, a professional standard for IT service and support. TenisiTech is also an HDI Team Certified Pinnacle of Excellence Award winner, which requires us to maintain high standards across every support role.

Question 10

Can TenisiTech work with in-house IT teams?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We often work alongside internal IT teams in what's called a co-managed setup. We can add capacity when your team is stretched, take on projects, bring specialized security expertise, or cover after-hours support. The goal is to make your team stronger, not to replace it. You decide which responsibilities stay in-house and which ones we handle.

Question 11

How do you avoid recommending unnecessary IT or security purchases?

Accepted Answer

We don't recommend anything until we understand your current tools, your business goals, how your team works, and your budget. Every recommendation has to earn its place by solving a real problem in your environment. On the security side, we start with a Layered Security Assessment. It tells you what to fix, in what order, and why each item matters. That way, you invest in the protections you actually need instead of paying for coverage that doesn't fit. And often, the assessment finds tools you already own but aren't fully using.

Question 12

How does TenisiTech handle cybersecurity for clients?

Accepted Answer

Security is built into every TenisiTech engagement from day one, not added on later. We offer three levels of coverage, so your protection matches your actual risk. Essentials covers the baseline: the core security controls, documentation, and evidence your cyber insurer will ask for at renewal. It includes a roadmap to get you insurance-ready and aligned to the right policies. Managed Security adds active, ongoing protection. We oversee threat detection, guide the response when something is found, and report on your security posture continuously. It's built for organizations that need a real security program but don't have a security team to run it. Advanced Security is for organizations where a breach, a failed audit, or a regulatory finding has serious consequences, such as healthcare, financial services, defense suppliers, and legal firms.

Question 13

How do you stay ahead in cybersecurity?

Accepted Answer

Attackers change their methods constantly, so we don't rely on any single tool. We combine several layers of protection: security tools that watch your devices and logins for suspicious behavior, a security operations team that monitors around the clock, regular security assessments, and ongoing training that helps your employees spot phishing and scams. We also work with leading security platforms and review our toolset regularly, so you benefit from better protection as it becomes available without having to research it yourself.

Question 14

Can you help us get or maintain cyber insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Insurance readiness is a core part of our security program. Before your renewal, we identify which controls you already have, what's missing, and what needs to be fixed. That typically covers multi-factor authentication, device protection, backup testing, and a documented plan for responding to an incident. This matters because insurers don't just ask whether you own the right tools. They want evidence that those tools are set up correctly and working together. We find the gaps before your insurer does, so your renewal conversation goes smoothly.

Question 15

How does TenisiTech support IT compliance and regulatory requirements?

Accepted Answer

We help you meet the standards your industry, auditors, or customers require, including SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA. That includes audit-ready documentation, policy templates and guidance, and a compliance platform that tracks your progress so nothing slips through the cracks. We also align your security work to the framework that matters for you, whether that's NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or a specific standard your auditor or customer has asked about. You get a program built for your requirements, not a generic checklist.

Question 16

What is TenisiTech's approach to data privacy and protection?

Accepted Answer

We protect your data in layers, so no single failure leaves it exposed. That includes monitoring for threats and responding quickly when something is found, encrypting sensitive data, and making sure each person can access only what their job requires. When your organization has to meet privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA, we help you put the right controls and documentation in place. We treat your data with the same care we'd want for our own, and our client agreements include strict confidentiality commitments.

Question 17

How does TenisiTech support remote and hybrid work?

Accepted Answer

Remote and hybrid support is a standard part of every engagement, not an add-on. Your team gets the same protection and support whether they're in the office, at home, or on the road. We secure every device your team works on, give employees safe access to company systems from anywhere, and support the collaboration tools your team relies on, including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. If you need bigger changes, like moving systems to the cloud or redesigning your network for a distributed team, we plan and carry out that work too.

Question 18

Can TenisiTech help with digital transformation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our TenisiTech Forward service is designed for organizations ready to modernize how they work. Forward engagements are project-based and cover cloud migration, adopting AI tools, and automating manual processes. Every project starts with a clear scope and cost estimate, and nothing begins without your approval. We focus on changes that make a measurable difference to how your team works, not technology for its own sake.

Question 19

How do you manage IT assets and lifecycle planning?

Accepted Answer

We keep a complete record of your hardware and software from day one. That lets us stay ahead of warranty and license renewals and plan device upgrades before aging equipment slows your team down. When equipment reaches the end of its life, we retire it securely and make sure company data is properly destroyed. You get predictable replacement costs you can build into your budget, instead of surprise purchases when something fails.

Question 20

Can you give examples of simplifying complex IT challenges?

Accepted Answer

The challenges we see most often include consolidating overlapping tools, moving outdated systems to the cloud, and building a security program from scratch. Whatever the project, our approach is the same. We break the work into clear phases, define what success looks like at each step, and keep you informed along the way. See our Case Studies for real examples of what this looks like in practice.

Question 21

What goes into your Managed Services pricing model?

Accepted Answer

Our ongoing services are billed per device, per month, so your IT costs are predictable and grow in step with your team. Your rate depends on four things: the service level you choose, the number of users and devices we support, how complex your environment is, and any compliance or security requirements you need to meet. Project work, like a cloud migration or an office move, is priced separately. It always comes with a clear scope and cost estimate before anything begins. See our Pricing page for a full breakdown of what moves the number.

Question 22

How can potential clients reach out to TenisiTech?

Accepted Answer

The easiest way is to request a free IT Review through our contact page. You can also call us at (408) 217-1380 or email info@tenisitech.com. We typically respond within one business day. If you're an existing client who needs support, call the service desk at the same number, or email support@tenisitech.com to open a ticket.
